The other night, we were watching TV. I flicked over to the movie channel, and “Grease” was on.
Me: I’m not going to watch the whole thing.
Adam: (groan)
I have watched “Grease” so many times. One summer, when I was 11 or 12 years old, I watched it every day. I loved Australia’s Olivia Newton-John, as good girl Sandy.
Now I am hooked on Stockard Channing’s Betty Rizzo. I like when she sings “There Are Worse Things I Could Do”.

I remember thinking that Stockard Channing was the height of cool (if slightly too old for the part). She was what I wanted to be when I grew up. Fab.
Just unlurking for a second to say how much I've enjoyed finding your blog. It's a little bit of connection (I Iived in Wicker Park too! I go to New Zealand a lot (well, three times so far, another coming up)! I have a 3-year-old)! and a lot of fascination (you write up quirky so well). Thanks.
OMG. I watched it too (felt silly at my age!) and now I can't get "Beauty School Dropout" out of my head. Must be because I need my hair done.
I love this movie too. we watched it at every sleep over for years.
Grease is the word. I love this movie so much. I bought the soundtrack and when it comes up on the ipod my hubs gets annoyed but I turn it up and belt the words.
I always preferred Rizzo, she has that extra bit of character that I like!
My favorite is Rizzo too. Being good is so boring right? You are too sweet with your comments on my blog. I really appreciate what you said. I hope you are having a great week honey! Kori xoxo
