I was born in Ohio. I have lived in Chicago and San Francisco.
I married a Kiwi named Adam. Eight or nine years ago, Adam and I settled in New Zealand. Now Adam and I are separated. We have a seven-year-old son. On this blog I call him Seven.
Seven and I live in a quirky, seaside village (pop. 1,700). Seven is allergic to everything, so I've been known to post allergy-free recipes. But mostly I just ramble on about whatever is on my mind.
