Ohhh the unfriend. I love it! When my bf's evil exboyfriend did something even more stoopid than breaking up with her? Unfriend. When the kid from 7th grade did a rant about something ridiculous and politically lame and well, WRONG? Unfriend. It's all the control I have left in the world, and it's a quick little click of a power trip. Bwhahahahahha!

As you know, our blog has our children plastered all over it - as it's a wonderful way for our family in the UK to keep up to date with their Grandchildren and all our activities. I unfriend people all the time on Facebook. I like my FB account to be about people that I have a relationship with in real life too. I'm very selective about people I let befriend me anyway. Honestly, if you don't really know the person that well I wouldn't be too offended.

I'm only on Facebook because somebody sent me an invite. I have found some 'friends' from the past, but I keep it to just ME stuff.
I drill it into the kids not to put personal stuff out there, so they have aliases on my blog, too. I think that's not too 'over the top'.

My theory is: If somebody wanted to find one of us that badly, we couldn't stop them.

I try to keep Facebook to my personal friends. I interact so much with my bloggie friends just through Twitter and blogs and e-mail. Also, by keeping the list small I can search out and destroy anyone who un-friends me.
