I was writing a post about what it would be like if men had periods. But I can’t do better than this famous and very funny essay by Gloria Steinem. The essay has a copyright, and I am too lazy to ask for permission to post it here. But it is so worth having a look.

I am perfectly happy not to know whether any of this is based in reality or satire. I like being male and I very much like not having to worry about periods, except for when I write.
